Nawazuddin Siddiqui is everything. Vidhu Vinod Chopra is as large as the films he makes. Akshay Kumar is insanely down to Earth! Varun Dhawan is ready to take on the industry with his honest performances!
I’ve stopped looking in the mirror. How? It’s because I am currently so secure and in sync with my inner peace. It came as a result of a lot of trials and tribulations but I’m glad I had those painful experiences because heck I would never learn not to give a damn otherwise.
So I’ve been a victim of some pretty crappy indirect bullying. It’s funny how we let the absolutely pointless opinions of a certain individual hurt us so much. But yes I’m a human and the words hurt me more than a ton of bricks. I started wondering if they possibly had any truth to them. They were feeding on me.
Now the good stuff in life. FRIENDS. I made the best friends I could have ever asked for. They embraced my weirdness. They didn’t judge me. Most importantly they always had my back! They make me laugh so much my stomach hurts! I cannot begin to explain the mammoth elevation they brought in my happiness.
Then of course came my Bollywood phase. Love it or hate it, I’ve always loved these movies and been obsessed over these stars because I love the drama, the love, the chase, the heroes and the villains! So of course I was beyond thrilled when I had my first tryst and interviewed the cast of Badlapur! Nawazuddin Siddique had always been one of my most favorite actors and it was incredible to talk to him! It went on to Vidhu Vinod Chopra for Broken Horses and I was so awe-inspired by how frank he was, being a celebrity! My favorite was definitely Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor for ABCD 2! I have attended press conferences for Gabbar with Akshay Kumar, Dil Dhadakne Do with Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah. I also attended the press conference for AIBA featuring Tigmanshu Dhulia, Parineeti Chopra, Varun Dhawan, Neha Dhupia etc.
Fashion wise I’ve attended some brilliant collection launches like Marks & Spencer’s, Splash and Banana Republic! To have had the chance to be under the same roof as Ushi Satao was surreal!
I recently got an LV bag which was much needed to add a little oomph to an otherwise minimal look and here’s the shoot done by the photographer par excellence Musfir Taufiq!
So that’s pretty much the last few months summed up!
Love and Light,
